Booking a session

A session is confirmed once we have agreed a date and time with you and received the booking amount. Until then, a slot is held provisionally and may be offered to another client.

Newborn sessions are scheduled around your due date rather than a fixed calendar date, and we will work with you to find a slot once your baby arrives.

Payment

Session fees and the amount payable at booking are quoted to you in writing before the session. The balance is payable on or before the day of the shoot unless we have agreed otherwise.

All prices are in Indian Rupees.

Rescheduling and cancellation

We understand that plans change, especially with a newborn. Let us know as early as you can and we will do our best to move your session to another available slot.

The booking amount holds your slot and is generally non-refundable if you cancel, but it can be carried over to a rescheduled session. If we have to cancel or postpone for any reason on our side, you may choose a new date or a full refund.

During the session

Your baby's safety and comfort come first. We will pause, slow down, or change a setup whenever your baby needs it, and some poses may not be possible depending on your baby's age and temperament.

A parent or guardian must be present for the whole of any session involving a child.

Delivery of images

Your retouched gallery is delivered through a private online link, normally within 7 to 10 days of the session.

Please download and back up your images promptly. We keep session files as a courtesy, but we cannot guarantee indefinite storage.

Copyright and image use

Copyright in the photographs remains with 8 Lenses Photography. You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to print, share, and reproduce your images as much as you like.

Please do not crop out our watermark where one is applied, or apply your own filters and edits before sharing, as the edited images represent our work.

We will only use your photographs in our portfolio, on this website, or on social media with your explicit permission, and you may withdraw that permission at any time.

Liability

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or another circumstance beyond our control that prevents delivery of a session, our liability is limited to a reschedule or a refund of amounts paid.
